Apple unwraps 'Healthkit' alongside Mac , iPhone features

Wednesday, 4 June 2014 - 0 Comments

San Francisco:  Apple Inc on Monday took the wraps off mobile applications that pool and analyze health and home data, kicking off an annual developer's conference lacking in big surprises, despite hopes the iPhone maker would offer a glimpse into its secretive pipeline of products.

Apple chief executive Tim Cook and Software-engineering boss Craig Federight told several thousand developers about new features that come with the latest "Yousemite" Mac platform and iOS 8, the software that powers the iPhone and  iPad.

Investors are waiting for Cook to keep a promise to create new product categories. Last week , Internet services chief Eddy Cue said the pipeline was the best he had seen in more than two decades, " The Healthkit has most potential for future," said Nils Kassube , a director of development at newscope, a Germany-based consulting firm.

On Monday, executives talked about "Healthkit," which will pull together data such as blood pressure and weight  now collected by a growing number of healthcare apps on the iPhone or iPad.

The company also announced an app, dubbed "Health" that will be an internal part of iOS 8.

The company will work in tandem with Nike Inc, a major player in fitness tracking, and the Mayo Clinic on the new feature, which will be included in the latest mobile software.
"that information lives in silos," said Federighi. "You can't get a singlecomprehensive picture."

Apple did not elaborate on other capabilities.

Federighi also described "Homekit," a feature that allows an apple devices to control everything from lights to temperature.

Apple described how "Youemite" will come with a much-improved Internet storage  application similar to those provided by Box or Dropbox, how users can pick up calls to iPhone from their Macs, and how Apple devices would sync constantly with each other, allowing users to pick up on their Mac where they left off on their iPhone.

How Do I Fix My Bricked iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch?

Sunday, 2 March 2014 - 0 Comments

Guys , Here we'll be discussing about Restoring of Bricked IOS Device .

Now , What is Bricking ?

- Bricking is a Mistakely done process that stops working of your Lovely IOS / Android / Symbian device.

How to Repair It ?

- You can Improve your Mistake by Upgrading your Device to a Latest firmware using Appropriate methods ...

Steps to be followed :-

Step One: Reset

Most of the time it's as simple as resetting your device. Hold down the power button and the home button simultaneously for 5-10 seconds (it can vary depending on the state of your device). Eventually you should see the Apple logo and iDevice will boot as normal. If not, try releasing both buttons and turning on your device as normal. As a precaution, plug your device into your computer and do a full restore in iTunes.

Step Two: Enter DFU Mode

1.  Presumably your device won't turn on or off, so let's first make sure it's off. Just like in the reset section, hold down the home and power buttons until your device shuts off.
2.  Hold down the home button.
3.  While still holding the home button, connect your iDevice to your computer. (The computer you use to sync with iTunes.)
4.  When you see a screen with a USB cable and a picture of the iTunes icon, you can let go of the home button.
5.  Restore your iDevice with iTunes using the restore instructions in the previous section.

That's one way to enter DFU mode that you can do while your device is still connected to your computer. You'll need a clock to help you count (don't count in your head!).

Here are the steps:

1.  Make sure your device is off.
2.  Hold the power and home buttons for 10 seconds.
3.  Release the power button but continue holding the home button for 10 more seconds.
4.  Release the home button
5.  Restore your iDevice with iTunes using the restore instructions in the previous section.

Hopefully one of these ways should make it possible to restore your device.
